Crafts, crafts, and more crafts
It's nearing Christmas and I'm in full crafting mode, to the point of panic. There is nothing like an ADDer when it comes to attacking multiple colorful craft projects with a vengeance. I was successful for a very short while in restraining myself and restricting my actual crafting to one project at a time (while spending exorbitant amounts of money on supplies for all the other projects cooking in my brain.) Alas, my restraint is fast slipping and I currently have three active projects and I'm itching, itching, itching to start another.
The downside to this lack of restraint is, of course, the very real possibility that I will finish absolutely nothing in time for the holidays and all anyone will get is a carefully wrapped "IOU A GIFT" note. Definitely a let down. So for the sake of organization I am listing and prioritizing my projects here:
Scarf for my sister (halfway complete - completely bored with it.)
Scarf for my daughter (halfway complete - still fun!)
Scarf for my mother
8 mini-scrapbooks (in planning stages, must schedule actual scrapping time)
Scarf for Garth
Sweater for my son (want to start REAL BAD)
Mittens for anyone I can get them done for (want to start REAL BAD)
Scarf for me (I have the softest prettiest yarn in hand....)
Learn to knit socks
Klaralund for me (1/4 complete - on hold until I get something else done!)
OK, that feels mildly better, mildly less overwhelming. Next step, put it on a calendar and put some deadlines on it. Hey, sometimes those work skills really do matter !
